Yogis … it’s been a while. Let’s gather!
I’m thrilled to be hosting my annual retreat again at Green Gulch Zen Center. It will be so great to be back together in practice, ritual, and friendship. I hope you can join!
We are in the sea of constant and fierce change. Even in the mildest waters, we can forget who we are; in these wilder waves, we need an even stronger anchor. The beginning of a new year is a wonderful time to put down that anchor. It marks a time of transition, a time in which we are given the opportunity to step more fully into–and come home to–our true selves.
On this daylong retreat at the beautiful and tranquil Green Gulch Zen Center in Marin, we’ll utilize the practices of yoga, seated meditation, inner silence, writing, and svadyaya (self-study) to connect more deeply to the essence of who we really are. We’ll also eat delicious food from the organic farm, and create sankalpas (sacred intentions) aimed at staying closer to our own hearts and values in 2024. I hope you can join for this powerful day of practice and presence!
Location
Green Gulch Zen Center is located in Marin County, just 30-45 minutes north of San Francisco, in a lovely valley that opens out onto the Pacific Ocean. There is a rich organic farm and garden on the premises, which students will have ample time to stroll through on breaks, and appreciate the profound beauty of this land. Carpooling is encouraged and those without cars will be connected to folks who can offer rides.
